Dear Centralians,

It is my honor and sincere pleasure to be the newly elected President of the Central State University Detroit Alumni Chapter. I am excited about the growth possibilities for our chapter as well as our continued support of local CSU students and our illustrious Central State University.

As we usher in a new year, our mission for 2014 will focus on three intertwined priorities that will ultimately contribute to the success of our Alma Mater:

(1) Increase alumni chapter membership,

(2) Provide scholarships to deserving students from the Detroit Metro area, and

(3) Provide continued support of our Alma Mater

If you haven’t already, I ask that you take a moment to become a new member or renew your membership with our chapter.

I encourage you to have an active role with the DAC by joining us at our monthly meetings, supporting our chapter sponsored events and being ambassadors for CSU by recruiting deserving young men and women to attend our Alma Mater thus continuing our strong heritage of successfully changing lives.

I look forward to serving our chapter and our University and ask that you do the same.
